　　Main uses of 2024 aluminum rod: aircraft structure, rivets, truck hub, propeller components and other structural parts

　　3、 3000 series aluminum bar represents 3003 and 3A21. The production process of 3000 series aluminum rods in China is relatively * *. 3000 series aluminum rods are mainly composed of manganese. The content is between 1.0-1.5, which is a series with better antirust function.

　　4、 4000 series aluminum bars represent 4a01, 4000 series aluminum bars belong to the series with high silicon content. Generally, the silicon content is between 4.5% and 6.0%. It belongs to building materials, mechanical parts, forging materials and welding materials; Low melting point, good corrosion resistance, product description: it has the characteristics of heat resistance and wear resistance

　　5、 5000 series aluminum bar represents 5052, 5005, 5083, 5A05 series. 5000 series aluminum bar belongs to the more commonly used alloy aluminum bar series, the main element is magnesium, and the magnesium content is between 3-5%. It can also be called aluminum magnesium alloy. The main features are low density, high tensile strength and high elongation. In the same area, the weight of Al Mg alloy is lower than other series, and it is widely used in conventional industry. In China, 5000 series aluminum bar is one of the more mature aluminum bar series.

　　6、 The 6000 series aluminum bar represents 6061 and 6063, which mainly contains magnesium and silicon, so it integrates the advantages of 4000 series and 5000 series. 6061 is a cold-treated aluminum forging product, which is suitable for applications with high requirements of corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance. Good usability, easy coating and good processability.

　　7、 7000 series aluminum bar represents 7075, which mainly contains zinc. It also belongs to Aviation series. It is al mg Zn Cu alloy. It is heat treatable alloy. It is super hard aluminum alloy with good wear resistance. It basically depends on imports. The production process in China needs to be improved.

　　8、 8011 is more commonly used in 8000 Series aluminum bar, which belongs to other series. Most of them are used in aluminum foil, but they are not commonly used in the production of aluminum bar.
